Village Family Medical Centre is a Mixed Billing Practice and therefore we charge fees for most services. Children under 16 years, Adults over 75 years, Pensioner Concession Card holders and DVA card holders will be bulk billed for most services.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not Bulk Bill or offer Concessions on Weekends or Public Holidays.
A concession may be offered to patients who have a Health Care Card or full-time student card (Monday to Friday only).
All fees are payable on day of service.
We are registered with Medicare for claiming rebates, which means your payments are lodged electronically after your consultation and the rebate from Medicare will be reimbursed into your nominated bank account, usually within 24 hours. We do have “Easy Claim” so in most cases your rebate can be claimed instantly.
The fees listed below are for standard consultations only. Longer and more complex consultations and procedures will incur a higher fee.
Our Fee for a standard consultation Monday to Friday is $79.00 (Concession Fee is $69)
Our Fee for a standard consultation Saturdays and Public Holidays is $89.00
Medical examinations for Insurance, Pre-employment, Diving etc will be billed privately – there is no Medicare rebate for these appointments. Please ask reception staff for more information.
Work Cover related consultations will be billed to the patient and payment is required on the day of consultation. Patient will then need to seek reimbursement from Workcover or their employer.
