Travel Consultation

  • Comprehensive travel advice specific to your place of travel
  • Travel Vaccinations and Medication advice and administration (including Yellow Fever Vaccinations)
  • Travel tips and advice including avoidance of infectious diseases, learning how best to prevent getting a blood clot on a long-haul flight, precautions regarding food and water intake, avoidance of mosquito-borne infections and avoiding excessive sun exposure.
  • Post travel advice

Vaccinations

We do not stock travel vaccinations however we can order them for you (they are generally supplied in 1-3 days) – or alternatively your doctor will give you a prescription so you can bring them in and have our nurses administer them.

Please note: It is very important that immunisations remain at a consistently low temperature (please do not store in your fridge at home). For this reason, we do recommend you attend a pharmacy nearby and bring the vaccine straight to us for storage. If you need to wait for your appointment with the nurse, please ask one of our staff to store your vaccine in our vaccination fridge rather than holding on to them.

Prior to your Consultation

  • It is helpful to forward us an itinerary prior to your consultation.
  • Please also complete the travel questionnaire.
  • If you are planning to visit any exotic locations or adventure / wilderness travel please provide details.
